Returns & Refund Policy

Our Commitment At Cornwall Angling Company, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

Your Right to Cancel (Online Orders) Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Our Returns Window We offer a 30-day returns window on most items, giving you extra peace of mind beyond your statutory rights.

How to Return an Item

  1. Contact us at [your email address] within 30 days of receiving your order
  2. We'll confirm your return and provide instructions
  3. Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition

Return Postage

  • If the item is faulty or we made an error: we'll cover the return postage
  • If you've changed your mind: return postage is the customer's responsibility
  • For oversized items such as fishing rods, please contact us before returning — we'll advise on the best method

Exceptions — Items We Cannot Accept Back

  • Items that have been used, assembled, or taken to the water
  • Consumable items such as bait, line, or hooks (once opened)
  • Items not in their original condition or packaging

Fishing Rods & Supplier-Fulfilled Items Some fishing rods and larger items are fulfilled directly by our supplier. Returns on these items follow the same policy, but please allow a little extra time for processing. Contact us first and we'll coordinate everything on your behalf.

Faulty or Damaged Items If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the issue. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement. We'll make it right as quickly as possible.

Refunds Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll process your refund within 5–7 working days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
